Let’s look into it step by step:
Starting Out
Your initial decisions in Call of Dragons significantly impact your progression speed through the offer goals. Give yourself the best start you can:
- Upgrade your Wilderhall: Even though most goals do not include upgrading the hall, it is essential that you do so. It will unlock the ability to upgrade other buildings, along with many other features. Prioritise this!
- Focus on completing quests: For the first few days, focus on main quests and challenges. This will also guide you through correct building upgrades etc. and give you a nice amount of resources.
- Always Use Your Second Builder Queue: This is arguably the most impactful tip for doubling your building speed.
- Initially, you receive free temporary second builder queue items.
- To unlock it permanently, you can purchase the second builder pack for $4.99/£4.99. Remember, the offer will pay you most of this back, making it almost free. Since upgrading buildings is a primary way to gain power, having two builders simultaneously dramatically accelerates your progress.
- Keep Production Buffs Active Consistently: Always have your Gathering Speed, Gold Production, Wood Production, Ore Production, and Mana Production buffs active. - To upgrade your Hall, you will always need to upgrade your Wall.
- To upgrade your Wall, you will always need to upgrade your Hospital.
- To upgrade your Hospital, you will always need to upgrade your Foundry.
- Therefore, the most efficient upgrade order is: Foundry – Hospital – Wall – Hall. The Foundry is also useful as it produces ore, which is scarcer than gold or wood. Other building requirements (like troop training buildings) will appear at higher Hall levels.
- Focus on the Economic Research Path: Your technology tree is vital for long-term efficiency. Construction time reductions are the key here.
- Early Game: When your scouts discover villages, always choose economic technology over military technology. This is because gaining power early is primarily about upgrading buildings and progressing research, not fighting.
- Key Research Order:
- Architecture One to Five: This is the top priority and will make all future building upgrades 15% faster, permanently.
- Scholarship One: Rush this to level five for 10% faster future research.
- Architecture Two: This provides a significant 35% building speed boost.
- Scholarship Two: This is a later, very expensive goal for 1M power progression.
- Command Point Efficiency: In between these core economic researches, prioritize Stamina (increases Command Point cap for offline regeneration) and Breath Control (increases online Command Point regeneration). This maximizes your ability to farm darklings, a key activity.
Daily Strategy
- Online: Maximize Command Point Usage by Fighting Darklings:
- Spend your Command Points (CP) by attacking Darkling Patrols, which provide Hero experience.
- Peacekeeping Heroes: Use heroes with peacekeeping talents. Their talents increase damage to darklings and reduce incoming damage.
- Offline: Focus on Resource Gathering:
- When your Command Points are depleted, send your legions out to gather resources. Prioritize sending your best gatherer to the Alliance resource pit (e.g., Mana) and other heroes to gather wood, gold, or specific resources you’re bottlenecked on.
- General Daily Habits:
- Complete all your daily quests every day for consistent rewards.
- Scout frequently (ideally every 10 minutes) and select exploration options with high success percentages (85% or higher).
- Regularly check all available in-game events and actively participate. Collect all rewards (the numbers in the red circles will let you know you have something to claim).
- Also, remember to upgrade your heroes and their talismans to enhance their effectiveness.
Speed-Ups & Gems
Do not be afraid to use speed-ups to construct buildings faster, especially early on. However, if you have a long-running upgrade (the hall for example), then start that off in the evening and just let it complete overnight. This will ensure that you don’t unnecessarily waste resources.
Always buy construction speedups in the goblin market with gems. This should be your primary use for gems. There’s often a discount, and you get more time reductions than you would for spending gems directly, speeding up construction.
At a push, if there’s nothing in the goblin market, you can spend gems on speeding up construction directly. But this is a last effort option. If you can, wait for the market to restock.
Is the Call of Dragons Offerwall Offer Worth It?
Regardless of whether you’re doing the Call of Dragons offerwall offer on Freecash, Swagbucks, CashInStyle, KashKick or whatever other site, then yes the Call of Dragons offer is definitely worthwhile.
