How to Quickly Complete the Offer
While MU Dark Epoch is at its heart an AFK game, it takes more than just logging in and letting the game run. If you want to move quickly and make the most of the offer, you need to be smart with your time, your upgrades, and how you handle the daily systems. This section covers everything you need to do to keep progressing without wasting effort.
Here’s how to do it, step by step:
Starting Out
It is crucial that you start out with the correct selection for various aspects of MU Dark Epoch. The reason for this is that it can mean the difference of up to 8x the speed for levelling up:
Server Selection
When you start, you’ll be asked to choose a server. Your EXP bonus will be based on the average level of the top 20 players on that server. So in older servers, you will level up faster. We chose Elvin Land 4 and had a major XP boost (up to 612%). Failing that ,look for a server name that has 15 or more different variations and choose the lower number.
Starting Day
Begin playing on a Thursday. This allows for basic progression before taking advantage of Saturday’s double XP event.
Class Choice
Select the Mage class. It has the fastest area-of-effect clearing and best wave control.
Complete the Survey
- Under the community section in the top right, you will be able to fill in a survey. It’s quick and in game. It gives you 2 EXP potions that will increase your EXP earning rate for a time.
XP Optimisation
The majority of your experience in MU Dark Epoch will come from a feature called Land of Demons. This is the core mechanic that drives level progression beyond the early stages. To enter Land of Demons, you first need to complete daily tasks such as Bounty Quests and World Bosses.
These activities reward you with contribution points, which are then spent as time within Land of Demons. Each contribution point translates directly into six seconds of auto-combat, during which your character gains large amounts of experience. Efficiently earning and spending these points every day is essential if you want to progress quickly and reach the offer’s level goals within the time limits.
Focus on Land of Demons, only after completing all dailies, converting contribution points into 6-second AFK battles. Target 30 minutes per day.
- Use EXP potions before you enter Land of Demons. These will give an additional 1.5x EXP boost. You can get these from completing the survey, natural drops as you play or purchasing with diamonds (if you opted to pay for in app purchases).
Use Offline Meditation daily (300 Garnets for each clock int he garnet shop) to generate 10–20 levels early, and 1–2 later.
Spend diamonds in XP Wish draws.
Join a Guild as early as possible. Participate in guild feast events, which provide ~1% XP per second passively.
Play in a party. XP increases by 10% per member of your guild, up to 20%. Don’t worry if can’t but good if you can.
Upgrading and levelling
Upgrading your character and equipment is essential for steady progress in MU Dark Epoch. As you level up, new upgrade paths become available across various systems, and it’s important to take advantage of them as soon as possible.
These upgrades not only increase your combat efficiency but also help meet stat requirements for unlocking better areas of Land of Demons.
There’s no need to approach it strategically; just upgrade whatever is available whenever you can. Delaying upgrades will only slow down your progression.
Upgrade, evolve, and add options to all weapons and gear as soon as materials are available.
- Prioritise gear that offers defence to unlock the next Land of Demons enemy. (These are gated by your current defence stats.)
Always enhance skills and the spirituality tab whenever upgrades are offered.
Spend all available resources (garnets) to buy better gear or the materials you need to upgrade gear. Do not hoard. The game rewards constant upgrading.
After each level-up, manually assign stat points in the bottom right corner of the screen, clicking on the character icon. This step is easily missed but essential.
Check for red dots or markers indicating new upgrades and clear them regularly.
What Not to Do
There are a few common mistakes in MU Dark Epoch that can easily cost you progress or, worse, result in missed rewards from the offerwall. Avoiding these issues can save you time and ensure you stay on track toward your level goals.
You will receive exactly one Instant Level-Up Orb. Do not use this early. The higher your level when you use it, the more experience it provides. Save it for as late as possible, ideally when leveling slows down significantly.
After completing your daily quests and using your Land of Demons contribution time, do not stay in-game idle. Instead, activate Offline Earning to continue gaining XP while away.
Be careful when using Offline Earning if you are close to reaching one of the offer goals. Some players have reported that offerwalls may not track levels gained while AFK, which can result in milestones not being credited. Always try to level up to key goals while online to ensure proper tracking.
Is the MU Dark Epoch Offerwall Offer Worth It?
The MU Dark Epoch offerwall promotion is a fantastic opportunity to earn from an offerwall. Early and mid-level goals offer consistent, reliable, and, more importantly, high payouts.
The later stages, particularly Level 318 and beyond, are not worth it, so save your time and move on to another offer (check our guides!). If your goal is to extract maximum earnings without undue stress, Level 270 is the optimal stopping point. Beyond this, diminishing returns and tracking inconsistencies make it difficult to recommend pursuing the full offer for most users.
