Most sites I’ve reviewed over the years will net you around $2 – $3 a year, but with our initial testing on CashInStyle we were able to earn around $4 an hour. That might not seem a huge jump, but as you’ll see below it can significantly boost your earnings.

Looking at surveys on CashInStyle, we were able to attain an average of $4 per hour. Not big bucks, but more than we generally see. It can be a very nice addition to monthly online earnings if you are consistent with completing them each day.

Disqualifications waste your time, but this is factored into the hourly rate. And of course, your own demographics (age, sex, location, job, salary, etc.) will affect your acceptance and disqualification rate, which will in turn affect your hourly earnings.

Not the sort of money that will make you rich, but a very decent addition to your monthly cash. And remember, as you complete surveys you’ll unlock lootboxes which can contain up to $100.

Earning Tips

Whenever you do paid surveys online, there are set “golden rules” that you absolutely must stick to in order to earn the maximum amount of cash:

Be honest and be consistent. It may be tempting to lie about your demographic to get more surveys but this will only lead to bans. The survey routers will learn your demographic over time and you’ll get more correctly target surveys. Don’t lie!
Determine the per-minute rate for surveys. For example, a 1 minute survey that pays $0.20 ($0.20 per minute), is better than a 5 minute survey that pays $0.60 ($0.12 per minute). Always go for higher earnings per minute.

4. XP, Levelling Up and Lootboxes

Now we get onto the gamification area of CashInStyle. You’ll gain XP, level up and move up in rank as if you were playing a game. Each of these will provide benefits to you, be it a lootbox containing guaranteed cash, unlocking more earning opportunities, or even extra percentage bonuses on all earnings.

Let’s look at them one by one, as it can be a little confusing at first.

XP -> Level Up -> Lootboxes

This is the most important concept. As you complete mobile offers and surveys, you will gain XP (experience points) in addition to the actual cash you earn of course. As you gain points, you level up.

So levelling up is something that will just naturally happen as you complete offers. This is a zero effort bonus, so make sure to claim them.

And don’t worry about the increased XP requirements of each level because at the end of the month, you level will reset to 1. Now, this might sound bad, but it is a good thing. It means that your XP requirements to level up will be reduced at the start of the month, which means more loot boxes. Your actual level number doesn’t really matter, what matters is the act of levelling up, which gives you a lootbox and free cash!

Ranks

Ranks are less important but can give you extra benefits. There is Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.

Platinum is only really for influencers so realistically for most you can forget about that.

Gold is what you’re aiming for. There are two ways to get it but by far the easiest is to verify yourself and make one withdrawal. With that ,you’ll unlock all offerwalls, and qualify for instant payouts.

5. Referral Program

CashInStyle has a decent referral program. Essentially, you share you link, someone signs up with it, and then whatever they earn for life, you get 10% of that value added to your account. Note, it does not impact how much the person you refer earns, as payments to you come from CashInStyle themselves.

10% is pretty decent, and there is more. They also have continuous referral contests, which takes us nicely into the next way to earn.

6. Contests

What I really like is that CashInStyle responds to the reviews on Trustpilot, and you can see that any 1 star reviews are challanged with cold hard facts. Among the one star ratings we can see that payouts were rejected for valid reasons such as multi-accounting or completing the same offer multiple times. Essentially violating terms. So if you keep yourself honest, you’ve got nothing to worry about.

How to Get Paid by CashInStyle?

They don’t bother with a points system so no need for any conversions. All offers are listed in USD ($) which I like as it keeps things clear.

As usual, once you complete an offer, it will pend for some days while it is validated, and then move into your account balance.
