What is Bingo Legends?
Bingo Legends is a mobile app that is effectively a very simple one card bingo game. You’ve probably seen the ads. The claim is that you can earn hundreds of dollars just by playing this simple 1 minute 20 second game.
You pay real money to enter tournaments, play a single round of bingo, and if your points (based on speed, number of bingos, etc.) are higher than 2-5 other “competitors”, you win. If you win (come in 1st), you get approximately double the cash back, 2nd place, you get your money back, 3rd, you get less than your entry fee back, and anything else, your cash is gone.
The Bingo Legends app is heavily advertised in other mobile apps and pushes outrageous claims that you can make hundreds of dollars/pounds a day.
But of course, nothing is quite that simple. What is the reality of the Bingo Legends app?
Is Bingo Legends Legitimate?
With these sorts of money making apps I always get right into it. Bingo Legends is NOT a legitimate way to earn some extra cash. It makes false promises, has dubious win probabilities, and a scummy deposit/withdrawal structure.
We’ve spent some time playing Bingo Legends and I do not believe it to be legit way to earn for the following reasons:
- Unlikely you are playing against real people and your competitors’ scores always scale with yours, making it seem fabricated or faked (see below for more).
- Your real deposited cash gets locked in game until you convert it back to “real cash” by winning games of bingo.
- $30/£30 minimum withdrawal.
- Outrageous earning claims in their ads.
- App store reviews are hidden due to it still being in “alpha development” despite having over 1 million downloads.
We suggest that you do not waste your time with this game, and absolutely do not deposit any cash.
For this reason, it will not show up in any of our online earning lists here on Earnologist.

Bingo Legends Red Flags
How it Works
After having spent time using and reviewing Bingo Legends, the set-up is clear:
- Lure you in with outrageous claims of free cash in their ads.
- Phase 1 you will win regardless how good are bad you are. But you will not win enough to hit the insane $30/£30 withdrawal.
- You’ll get close to $30/£30, and “oh no!”, your luck has suddenly changed. You are in phase 2 and will always miss out on a paying position by one place. You lose and lose. Your cash amount drops lower and lower.
- You’re now bombarded with suggestions to deposit, preying on your hope that your “luck” will come back.
- You deposit and realise your cash becomes bonus cash. No way to withdraw without playing through it ALL, and hoping for a win.
- Watch that cash dwindle to nothing again.
- Bingo Legends wins and you’ve just lost a stack of cash.
Unlikely You Are Playing Against Real People
Suspicious lack of default profile picture
When you first start the game, you have a default profile picture of the app logo. There’s no social link so you can’t add your own picture. We didn’t change ours from the default, and I doubt most people will either, yet not a single other player we played against all day had that default icon. Not conclusive in itself, but suspicious to say the least and points towards the players being bots, or more likely auto-generated at game completion along with their scores.
Our experience was clearly split into 2 phases. The initial hook, then the desperation spiral.
Phase 1: Hooking you in
When first starting our we were knocking it out of the park.
At worst we were coming in second place, at best in first. We were unstoppable! But something struck me. No matter what score we got (usually 20,000 – 30,000), we were simply not losing. It seemed too good to be true.
So, I decided to throw a game. I played badly on purpose. I clicked less than 50% of the numbers, didn’t use powerups, neglected calling bingo. I literally tried to lose, and this was the result:
11,960 points, which is terrible, but astonishingly, I still came first… with the other players doing even worse than me. Their scores were almost impossibly bad…
It seems that the game does not want you to lose early on, instead it wants you to think you’ve got a damn good chance of winning. Honestly despite having these suspicions going in, I did feel myself drawn in regardless.
We got up to £20/$20 of real cash. But guess what, you can’t withdraw until you get £30/$30. But hey, we can’t lose so that should be easy… right?
Phase 2: You’re losing it all! Want to deposit more?
We could physically feel phase 2 kick in once we reached $20/£20. Despite still consistently getting 20,000+, even into the high 30,0000 points, we were always just outside of the earning zone. 3 paying places? We came 4th. 2 paying places? We came 3rd.
Our cash dwindled down to near nothing. Then we were bombarded with pop-ups trying to get us to deposit real cash.
Other “player’s” scores always scale against your own
Scores of other “players” always, always scale with your own score. In phase 1, they would scale just below you in relation to your score. In phase 2 they would scale just above you in relation to your score. Take a look at our screenshots above at how obvious this is.
Designed to hook you in, then drain your winnings, hoping you desperately deposit more, and the cycle continues.
Deposited cash not initially withdrawable, $30/£30 withdrawal minimum
So first up, when you deposit your real cash, it will be converted to bonus money. This means you cannot withdraw the money you’ve just deposited. To convert it back to money, you must stake it all in a game and win.
Effectively, whatever cash you deposit is held hostage until you play through it all.
There is also a high withdrawal amount of $30/$30 that actually applies a fee on your withdrawal, too.
So let’s say you deposit $40. That is locked in as bonus cash (the green cash above) and you can’t withdraw if you change your mind. You then play through that $40, win some games, lose others. Let’s say you lose $11 overall. So you’ve now got $29 of real cash (the yellow cash above) left in Bingo Legends. Well, guess what, that cash is still trapped in the game, because it’s a $30 minimum payout. If our experience is anything to go by, trying to get your cash back above $30 for a withdrawal is at best incredibly unlikely and, at worst impossible.
Bingo Legends Mobile Ads Huge Earning Claims
You’ve seen these kind of ads before. They’re very predatory and have outrageous claims. They show someone desperate and peniless and Bingo Legends is the only game that can save them and earn them hundreds of dollars in minutes. Honestly, if an ad like this seems too good to be true, it is. Seriously, it is.
The Bingo Legends Mobile Ad claims:
- Shows that each bingo number clicked is worth $5 (Obviously incorrect and a blatant lie).
- Claims you get $100 for “coming back” to the app today. Nope. never happens, of course.
- Shows wild balances of several hundred dollars. Yeah, good luck getting anywhere near that unless you start by depositing hundreds of dollars (please don’t do this).
If the ad itself is a lie, what chance is there that the earning potential (earning anything at all) in the app is possible? They lie for a reason, and it’s not for your benefit.
Bingo Legends App Store Reviews Hidden
Bingo Legends takes advantage of a terrible loophole in mobile app stores. If a developer marks a game as “in alpha development”, then no reviews can be left and no ratings applied. This is what the developer of Bingo Legends has done.
Ask yourself this: Is it likely that an app that has had over 1 million downloads is still in alpha development? Nope.
The alpha tag is being used to prevent receiving negative reviews and ratings. Big red flag.
Conclusion
It should be clear by now, but Bingo Legends is not a legit way to earn money. From predatory advertising, downright lies, to scummy deposit/withdrawal rules and very suspicious game results you are best to stay clear. Please, please, please do not deposit any cash in this game as you’ll just lose it.
