InstaGC Suspected Phishing Warning
For several months now, when you head over to InstGC you will get a Cloudflare warning of “Suspected Phishing”. This is worrying to see and as a rule you should not enter sites with this warning from a security perspective.
Reports are that the owner is aware of this and claims it is a false positive. Regardless of whether it is a false positive or not, it indicates that the owner has no interest in resolving it, and therefore no longer has an interest in the site itself. It is also worsened with other problems we’ve discovered below.
In our opinion, combined with the other issues we mention below, it is not advisable to use InstaGC at this time. Instead use verified sites such as FreeCash and CashInStyle.
Can't Cashout From InstaGC
On top of the phishing warning on InstaGC, we have personally been unable to withdraw ANY lower denomination gift cards for a few months now. PayPal withdrawals are completely unavailable. And they state that all payments are manually handled now. Things may change but we have accepted that the funds we have in there are now lost.
This combined with the phishing warning, is an indicator that site has all but been abandoned and is slowly dying. As such, it becomes a huge risk to continue using and earning on InstaGC as you’re unlikely to be able to withdraw the cash you earn.
We Are Removing InstGC as a Legit Way to Earn
Things may change, but due to the phishing warnings, removal of payment methods, our inability to withdraw anything, and the apparent absence of the owner or any moderators, makes using InstGC too much of a risk.
For this reason, as precaution we have removed InstaGC from our list of ways to earn, and removed any links towards the platform.
We’ll monitor the situation, but we suggest moving over to Freecash and CashIStyle for now or to check our mega list of 300+ ways to earn online.
