The calculation is easy of course. It’s just the article price divided by the number of words. But it highlights the importance of word count. You could write two 500 word articles and get $50, or a single 1,000 article and get just $25. The maths are clear on this one. In reality you should be looking at somewhere between 500 and 1,000 words to even things out.
So now you should have a good idea of a topic, a title, and what to charge. Once you’ve written the article it’s time to submit it. Thankfully this process is very straightforward. It’s a simple form where you enter some information about the article and paste in the content of the article itself.
After that, you set your price and submit. It needs to be reviewed by Constant Content which can take a day or two. Once reviewed, it is listed on the marketplace for others to buy.

Another 2 opportunities to earn with Constant Content are casting calls and standing requests. Casting calls are where clients are looking for people to apply to write for them. These can be lucrative but again, unfortunately, they are few and far between. That being said, if you see a casting call, make sure you apply if you fit the criteria.
Next are the standing requests. These are from Constant Content themselves where they have identified a demand for certain articles. You should jump on these as soon as you see them because as we know, high demand means quick sales.
Writer pool requests on Constant Content are typically targeted towards people with certain certifications, or knowledge or who are based in a certain country. This shows the importance of keeping your profile up to date.
These are typically project-based, so expect a steady stream of work if you can bag yourself access to these.
Private requests are requests for articles directed solely to you. The client will have either purchased from you before in the marketplace or likes the look of your profile. You can’t really do much to ensure that you get private requests other than keeping your profile up to date and keeping your article quality high.
These requests can often turn into long-running relationships for article writing, so don’t sleep on these if they pop up in your dashboard.

It’s a tough question to answer. The amount of money you can make on Constant Content is dependent primarily on how many quality articles you can churn out. The more you write (and submit to the marketplace), the more you will earn. Constant Content estimates that most authors sell between 50% and 75% of all articles that they submit, so take that into account.

Of course, if you write more articles, that figure will go up. As you can see it is not an astounding amount of money by any means, but an additional $500 a month for an hour or two of work per day is acceptable in my opinion.
This is the part I don’t really about Constant Content. They used to pay via PayPal but now they’ve changed to a more convoluted payment system. Now the Constant Content payment methods to get paid into your bank use a middle-man payment method – either Stripe or Wise. From there you can withdraw into your bank account.
The good news is that you don’t need to request payouts. As long as you are over the threshold for payouts, you will be paid in the first week of the month.
Now, the threshold differs depending on which country you live in which is a little unfair as the difference is very large:
